election "HOPE or THREAT?"

Election............. An event that always makes its way in becoming the talk of the town. Posters of Politicians, things like t-shirt and caps with their names and faces on it, political ads, and campaigning here and there are always an evident of how important is the election here in the Philippines. This marks how politicians endorse themselves so that they could bag the votes of the people.

However, associated with election is VIOLENCE. This is very inevitable and it seemed like it has already reserved a place during election time. A terrible act of desperation, yet an UNDENIABLE ACT.....

Has election lowered the
dignity and morality of people? Has it penetrated their minds and drive them to do something SELFISH, GREEDY, RUTHLESS and most of all BRUTAL? These questions run through our minds every time election period starts. For what is happening now, we are almost convinced that people of great ambitions would risk their morality and dignity in exchange for a glorious name.

The recent MAGUINDANAO MASSACRE, an obvious display of political violence. A desperate act which took the lives of many innocent people. THese people were just victims of how dirty the election can be.

These violence should STOP!!! This becomes a
huge THREATto our nation and a great shame for us FILIPINOs. An election that should have been our HOPE for a better country becomes a competition that degrades our soceity. It alters PEACE and ORDER.

TO YOU WHAT IS ELECTION????

A HOPE???? OR A THREAT???

we know already that Philippines is one of the fast growing countries in our nation. It is also one of the fast growing countries that is keen to violence during election day.

  8. election is a threat, i should say.
why would other politicians buy votes and even doing violence just to win? its a shame for us filipinos, right?. they are not looking for the betterness of our nation but for the sake of their own wealth and position to be someone. We should do something new in 2010 election...
    -nice one. -archipadz-

  9. this election is really putting us unto test . i mean all of the candidates are not deserving to be in the position.. i hope that the automation of votes will lessen the biases in the election. its really ironic , how we boast ourselves to other people i mean other country that we are conservative and loving when the truth is people are so liberal in their thoughts and actions..
the morality in this country is getting really low.. high rates of early parenthood. killings everywhere... saying bad things to people and also owning the cashbin of this poor country..

what should we do then? as youth today .. what can we do to save our generation from massive destruction?!..

    Think..

its not the end.. we cam still regain our great years..

dont act cool, just act proper :))

  11. God!!! for heavens sake aren't they tired of pushing things intobad resolutions. they must really do admit that indeed all of needs to vote still they must respect our privacy as well as our right to vote the one really deserving. but do others prefer to vote the owerful one, it is simply because they were being threthen, and so we must really do something about it. based on experience I was raised in a very suffisticated place. I was not able to enjoy my childhood days, because my father is a well known politician in our place and so, I couldn't easily play if I want. Actually I don't have freedom and what's worse is that I could hardly find my real friends since almost all I've meet are just trying to use me, my kindness, my beauty, my not so but my ideas and thoughts, and especially my money and power. As of now I only have two best and close friends, because they really stayed with me whatever I do and whatever hardships I take they're always at my side. So i think this is a wake up call for all of us. Let us stop unjustice..... please!
